Stalker Exercise.

For this task we had to film a 'college stalker' scene using only six shots, before filming we had to draw out the shots of how it would be filmed on a storyboard. Overall we found that we mostly stuck to what we had planned, however some shots were difficult to film when it came to shooting so some shots were changed. For example we had to change the location of where we filmed due to the location we wanted being too crowded. In general we enjoyed this filming task as this links to horror which is the genre we are filming. We feel we were able to come up with a few creative ideas which made our piece original. We tried to show as little of the stalker's face as possible to provide a more tense feel to the film. A few mistakes were found in our project, for example in the final shot when the stalker stands there as the door opens, an arm is visible. This is something we should pay attention to when filming so that we avoid any mistakes. However, we feel that we've got a grasp on continuity as the film flows smoothly and the cuts don't jump as much as they have done in our previous projects, this is why we believe this is a good piece of filming and possibly the best we've done so far.
